Ottawa County is known as the king of blueberries, but also offers a variety of top-notch fruit ripe for the picking.
So go ahead, enjoy the sweet taste of our fruit harvest.
During the summer season there are plenty of opportunities to get hands-on with locally grown treats at these and other farm markets:
1. Reenders Blueberry Farm
Located at 9981 U.S. 31 in West Olive, the market provides customers with a wide variety of blueberries, and a U-pick service.
2. Cook’s Strawberries
Located at 13353 60th Ave. in Coopersville, this site offers both U-pick and pre-picked berries during the growing season.
3. Blueberry Hill
Located on M-104 east of Spring Lake. This family-owned hill of blueberries offers U-pick fun for the whole family.
4. Rasch Cherries
Located at 17647 40th Ave. in Conklin, this facility offers U-pick and already-picked sweet and sour cherries during the fruit season.
5. A&L Farm Market
Located at 13930 Lake Michigan Drive in West Olive, this farm market offers an assortment of berries, fresh fruit and fruit spreads.
